From the South via ferry
Exit the M6 Motorway at Junction 36 and follow the A591 towards Windermere. At the Plumgarths roundabout, just north of Kendal, turn left and follow the Hawkshead and ferry signs up the B5284 Crook Road. This road leads to the southern end of Bowness and the ferry crossing is signposted. Take the ferry across Windermere and then follow the road for one mile. The Tower Bank Arms is on the left.
From the South by road
Exit the M6 Motorway at Junction 36 and follow the A591 to Ambleside, as you approach Ambleside follow the signs to Langdale and Coniston, at Clappersgate take the sharp left turn over the bridge and follow the signs for Hawkshead. Continue past Hawkshead and follow the ferry signs. Continue for a mile and a half, on entering Near Sawrey the Tower Bank Arms is on the right.
From the South by ferry
As you approach Windermere follow the signs to Bowness. Continue through Bowness and follow the signs for the ferry. Take the ferry across Windermere and then follow the road for one mile. The Tower Bank Arms is on the left.
From the North by road
From Ambleside follow signs for A593 - Coniston, Langdale and Hawkshead. Turn left at Clappersgate onto B5286 for Hawkshead. At Hawkshead turn left following signs for Windermere via Ferry and Sawrey. Enter Near Sawrey, the Tower Bank Arms is on the right.
